I am thrilled to announce the launch of my new blog MyLifestyleCareer.com, a site for anyone (not just moms) who wants to reinvent their career outside the 9-5 corporate box.
As most of you know, I have spent the past 12+ years as a career coach for moms who want to reinvent their careers to be more family-friendly and/or entrepreneurial. I've loved every minute of it and plan on continuing to work with my mom clients for a long, long time to come.
But, as the years have gone by, and as corporate America has become a tougher place to work, I've been increasingly aware that it is not just moms who want help with finding lifestyle friendly careers. Lots of folks -- young singles, Baby Boomers and people long to work from home --are looking for ways to break free of the corporate world in order to achieve a better work-life mix.
